\nOur school in Conil is recognised as an organiser of educational leave in all federal states that have a corresponding educational leave law (BUG). (Baden W\u00fcrttemberg, Berlin, Brandenburg, Bremen, Hamburg, Hesse, Mecklenburg Vorpommern, Rhineland Palatinate, Saarland, Saxony Anhalt, Schleswig Holstein and Thuringia).<\/p>\n

We will provide you with the necessary documents – free of charge and without obligation, of course – so that you do not have to go through any official channels. We do not charge students the administrative fee that some federal states charge. If you have any questions, please contact us. Who IS ENTITLED TO EDUCATIONAL LEAVE IN SPAIN?<\/h3>\n

\nThe provisions of the Bildungsurlaubsgesetz vary depending on the federal state. As a rule, every employee who works full-time in a company for more than 6 months is entitled to 5 working days of educational leave per year, in addition to the regular leave. These days can also be combined into 10 working days by postponing them to the following year. However, the employer must be notified of this before 31 December of the year in question.
\nMany employees of even very large companies – such as Lufthansa, Airbus, TUI, ZDF or Mercedes – come to us year after year for educational leave. So do countless employees of many public authorities, e.g. police, tax office, school administration.  Exercise your right and use your educational leave. \nApplication formalities – and deadlines – vary from state to state. It is not uncommon for a lead time of up to 3 months to apply. We know the details and can advise you comprehensively. We can also provide you with the relevant certificates for your employer – free of charge and without obligation, of course – so that you do not have to go through any official channels.

WHICH FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES ARE AVAILABLE FOR AN EDUCATIONAL HOLIDAY IN SPAIN:<\/h3>\n

Bildungsscheck f\u00fcr Spanisch Unterricht, QualiScheck Spanisch. What is behind the education voucher?<\/p>\n

People who want to improve their chances and qualifications on the labour market can receive support through the individual ESF support programmes of the L\u00e4nder or the federal government.<\/p>\n

The federal ESF funding programmes are implemented nationwide under the auspices of the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth, the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety and the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy.<\/p>\n

The ESF funding programmes in the federal states also take into account the labour market specifics in the region.<\/p>\n

The ESF promotes employment projects at local, regional and federal level. Individuals are only funded through the various ESF funding programmes, which are implemented by projects and responsible institutions. Contact persons for the ESF programmes can be found in the individual programme descriptions<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In addition to the legally guaranteed right to educational leave, many federal states have set up a programme that enables interested citizens to receive financial support for their continuing vocational training within the framework of the European Social Fund (ESF).<\/p>\n

Academia Atl\u00e1ntika is recognised as an educational institution by various funding schemes of this ESF programme. This means that you can have your education or qualification cheque for a Spanish language course issued by us in Conil de la Frontera and cash it with us.<\/p>\n

How much and what is funded by the ESF programme?<\/h2>\n

The financial support usually covers 50% of the course costs. The cost subsidy is usually capped (approx. 500,- \u20ac) and does not apply to individual lessons. The requirements for receiving this support vary greatly from one federal state to the next. In NRW, for example, a minimum income must not be exceeded and the company must not employ more than 250 people. Students or pupils at vocational schools are also eligible if they work a certain number of hours per week in addition to their studies or training.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, we cannot apply for an education cheque or QualiScheque on your behalf, but we will be happy to advise and support you.
\nExercise your right and use the education cheque. Knowledge of Spanish is becoming more and more necessary as a professional requirement in today’s world, and it also enriches your private life in a very nice way.

How can I deduct my language travel ????<\/h2>\n

Tax advantages (deductibility of language travel).<\/p>\n

Even if the language course has not been classified as educational leave, e.g. because you don’t want to spend so much time learning, you can still deduct language travel for work-related reasons as further education or training costs (according to \u00a7 9\/10 EStG)<\/a> for tax purposes. Generally speaking, you can deduct language travel either as income-related expenses, business expenses or special expenses!<\/p>\n

This depends on the decision of the tax office in each individual case. Therefore, you should in any case inquire with your responsible tax office or your tax advisor before starting your language study trip to find out what applies to you in your federal state. However, more generous regulations have applied since the beginning of 2000: Language trips are now already tax-free if they are carried out in the overwhelming business interest of the employer.
\nAccording to the wage tax guidelines, it is therefore no longer necessary for the company to count at least part of the participation in the training measure towards working time. However, it is still a prerequisite that the language skills are required in the employee’s work environment.<\/p>\n

After you have attended a language course with us, we will be happy to issue a certificate for the tax office.<\/p>\n

Educational Spanish Holiday<\/a><\/h1>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

What can you do if you want to take part in an educational leave that is recognised as an educational leave in another federal state, but not in your federal state?<\/h3>\n

Ask us to apply to the relevant office for recognition of the continuing education event as Bildungsurlaub. We are already recognised in most federal states.<\/p>\n

If the educational event is recognised, we receive a positive notification with prefabricated registration and participation certificates for the participants. These must be submitted to the employer: the registration certificate at the latest four weeks before the educational leave begins, the participation certificate immediately after the educational leave ends.<\/p>\n
